How to Achieve a Good Web Design Structure

Often the web design circles make reference to the “stickiness” of a page. A sticky page is one where customers do not easily leave. Likewise a page that is not sticky is one which keeps losing customers once they click on the first link. You should be worried about any page that does not seem to retain customers.
Templates: You need to reduce your reliance on templates. These tools are very good for standardizing your output but they have a problem in as much as they remove the creative elements which are associated with the page. You can end up creating something that is very bland. The worst thing that can happen is if your website is identical in structure to the one that is created by your mortal business rival. It is always better to come up with a website that is consistent but also amenable to your creative input.
Interactivity: Make sure that clients have a chance to participate in the web activities. It is good to look at your content but you will take an extra step forward if you can make the page interactive for your clients. For example you might include a survey or competition which allows your visitors to become part of the action. Blogs and forums can really take off if you include great topics. Controversy is not necessarily a bad thing as long as you do not open the website to the possibility of a legal challenge. A good quality blog is perhaps the best way of fostering customer interaction.
Flash: SEO experts say that flash is the enemy. It is notoriously difficult to index and the search engines struggle to make sense of it without the presence of text. On the other hand flash objects can be absolutely beautiful. Remember that too much flash will cause the page to download very slowly. That might be detrimental to your customers with weak browsers. Some webmasters have come up with a clever method for using flash sparingly according to user settings. That means that the surfer can make a choice in terms of the version that they want to use.
Short and sweet: There is no point in writing long essays as a means of padding up the website. Instead you should get the most important content and use it as the springboard for all the activities that you are undertaking. It is very important that you consistently concentrate on the priorities. There is no need for you to write extensive text content if it does not contribute to the page. This article has been viewed 17 time(s).
