In this article,i am going to explain about how to use active-x controls in asp.net application.

Main:
We know generally, ActiveX controls represent reusable graphical controls that can be hosted in ActiveX control containers.We can import active-x controls using AxImp.exe (In the same way like TlbImp.exe utility),

In this examble, i imported windows media player (msdxm.ocx),

Once the import is over we need to host the active-x control in visual studio,

For host an ActiveX control on a Windows Form from within Visual Studio .NET. To do so, right-click on the Toolbox and select Customize Toolbox. From the COM Components tab, select the control you wish to import; we will be using the Windows Media Player control.
